Deploying Web Security Service to Users

There are two ways Web Security Service (WSS) can be deployed to Users:

Desktop Web Proxy (DWP) Agent

This is the preferred method of deployment and involves the deployment of a small agent. This agent has many benefits:

Manually Configuring Browser Settings

If circumstances do not allow the admin to use DWP, you can manually configure the proxy settings in the various browsers. These are generally located in the network options and you should enter the following information:
